Dear Doug & Darla,

We highly recommend Lakeside Gardens Adult Family Home to anyone seeking a safe, loving environment for a senior family member needing special care.

Darla and Doug Laughlin provided a home for Mom when her dementia and physical limitations made it impossible for her to remain in her house. Like so many families we found ourselves not knowing where to turn after trying in-home caregivers with little success and experiencing the horror of a nursing home stay. Luckily we found Lakeside Gardens just when we needed them.

Mom was given loving, individualized care by Darla, Doug, and their carefully chosen staff in their beautiful home. She retained her dignity and experienced a much richer daily life with activities, wonderful meals and special events.

We were given peace of mind, the support and guidance we needed with social and medical issues, and were able to be Mom's family again. We will be eternally grateful for these gifts.
